Very interesting subject and a good overview of most of SPL. There were some things that bothered me like the fact that the usage of the code examples could be better. Most of the time you'd just scroll to the code example and click the example away in a few seconds. There are ways to improve that like putting the linenumber of the code example as a anchor in the url, all github code examples support that. Or even better just integrate the relevant code in the slides. Makes for a much smoother experience for anyone watching and listening.
Also the conference badge caused a lot of interference on the mic unfortunately.
Talk had some good points, but was slow. I also think that you never should say something is wrong without explaining why. there are loads of good arguments and reasons to support the statements.
Good talk, nice amount of jokes, a little slow paced and slightly repatative. Great to see the examples and frustrations of javascript
Good talk and nice examples, really loved the part about parallel processing (it was a bit to short if you ask me, you spend to much time on colors I think ;-).
But keep in mind that it was a tutorial so don't forget to interact with your audience and give us something to do so we can learn in real life :)
great talk, nice to see the person responsable for JSLint and the frustrations of using it. :)
Interesting content presented with lots of experience referenced. Would like to look in more detail to the use cases in favour of covering the entire SPL.
Enjoyed the presenters style and communication of experiences.
Conference badge caused lots of noise on the mic though
Good tutorial, nice speaker, nice content, but a bit to easy. Most of us are experienced developers so we can handle more advanced stuff.
Flow3 looks like a promosing framework cause it has to decided to use Doctrine2 as ORM. But still cause it uses Fluid for templating I am doubting to use it. The tutorial was clear and Robert was explaining stuff very well and serious! Looks like a cool guy!
Excellent talk and food for thought.
